Follow-up report to Myanmar's assessment of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing measures

In light of progress made by Myanmar since its 2018 Mutual Evaluation Report, the country has been re-rated on the following recommendations:

• Recommendation 10 from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant
• Recommendation 12 from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant
• Recommendation 13 from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant
• Recommendation 14 from Non Compliant to Partially Compliant
• Recommendation 24 from Non Compliant to Partially Compliant

Due to the new FATF obligations under Recommendation 15, the level of compliance has been re-rated from Largely Compliant to Partially Compliant.

Myanmar will remain in enhanced (expedited) follow-up, and will continue to report back to the APG on progress to strengthen its implementation of AML/CFT measures.
