Follow-up report to Myanmar's assessment of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing measures

Myanmar has made some progress in addressing the technical compliance deficiencies identified in its MER and has been re-rated on two Recommendations:

• Recommendation 1 has been re-rated to LC
• Recommendation 19 has been re-rated to PC

However, as a result of amendments made to requirements for group-wide information sharing in Recommendation 18, Myanmar has reduced its level of compliance with R.18:

• Recommendation 18 has been re-rated to LC

Myanmar will remain on enhanced follow-up, and will continue to report back to the APG on progress to strengthen its implementation of AML/CFT measures.
