The FATF Recommendations

The FATF Recommendations are the basis on which all countries should meet the shared objective of tackling money laundering, terrorist financing and the financing of proliferation.  They include robust measures to target and confiscate criminal assets.

FATF-INTERPOL Partnership: Igniting Global Change to Take the Profit Out of Crime

At the second FATF-INTERPOL Roundtable Engagement (FIRE) over 200 experts from around the globe are discussing challenges, good practices and recent developments to more effectively go after criminals’ ill-gotten gains. Participants discussed the progress in formal and informal co-operation and welcomed FATF’s proposals to strengthen asset recovery networks.

Learning and Development Forum on Asset Targeting and Recovery
