Mauritius' progress in strengthening measures to tackle money laundering and terrorist financing

Overall, Mauritius has made sufficient progress in addressing deficiencies in technical compliance identified in its MER to justify re-rating of the following recommendations:

• Recommenation 26 (initially rated PC) is re-rated to Largely Compliant
• Recommenation 32 (initially rated PC) is re-rated to Largely Compliant

Recommendtion 15 which was re-rated C under the 2nd FUR has been re-rated down to PC

Mauritius will remain in enhanced follow-up and will continue to inform the ESAAMLG of the progress made in improving the implementation of its AML/CFT measures two months before each Task Force meeting.
