Paris, 28 May 2025 - Since the 2023 assessment of Indonesia's measures to tackle money laundering and terrorist financing, the country has taken a number of actions to strengthen its framework.

In line with the FATF Procedures for mutual evaluations, the country has reported back to the FATF on the action it has taken since then.

Indonesia has enacted amendments and other regulations to address the gaps identified in the MER.

As a result, the country has been re-rated on one recommendation.

  • Recommendation 7 is re-rated from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant.

Indonesia has 6 Recommendations rated Compliant, 30  rated  Largely Compliant; 4 Recommendations remain Partially Compliant.
