Burkina Faso Follow-Up Report 2025

Overall, Burkina Faso has made efforts to address some of the technical compliance deficiencies identified in its 2019 Mutual Evaluation.

The country has been upgraded on four recommendations:

  • Recommendation 8 has been re-rated from PC to LC
  • Recommendation 24 has been re-rated from PC to LC
  • Recommendation 25 has been re-rated from PC to LC
  • Recommendation 32 has been re-rated from PC to C

Burkina Faso has 10 recommendations rated C, 22 rated LC; 8 recommendations remain rated PC.
