June 2023 -

Albania has made progress to address the technical compliance deficiencies identified in the MER and subsequent FURs.

As a result of this progress, Albania has been re-rated on two Recommendations:

  • Recommendation 25 is upgraded from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant
  • Recommendation 28 is upgraded from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant

Albania will remain in enhanced follow-up and will continue to report back to MONEYVAL on progress to strengthen its implementation of AML/CFT measures
