Objectives for the Spanish Presidency of the FATF 2016-2017

FATF President Juan Manuel Vega-Serrano presented his objectives for the Spanish Plenary year (July 2016 - June 2017) to the Outcomes of the Plenary meeting of the FATF, Busan Korea, 22–24 June 2016. 

•  Objectives for FATF-XVIII (2016-2017)

During the Spanish Plenary year (July 2016- June 2017) the FATF will prioritise activity in the following areas:

• Counter Terrorist Financing
• Enhancing transparency
• Outreach to the FinTech community
• Effective implementation of the FATF Standards
• Increased operational focus
• Enhanced international standing
