This follow-up report analyses the progress made by Bolivia in addressing the technical compliance deficiencies identified in its MER. Bolivia has made some progress in addressing its technical compliance deficiencies. 

• Recommendation 6 has been re-rated from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant

• Recommendation 13 has been re-rated from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant

• Recommendation 22 has been re-rated from Partially Compliant to Compliant

• Recommendation 23 has been re-rated from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant

• Recommendation 28 has been re-rated from Partially Compliant to Compliant

Bolivia currently has 14 rated Compliant, 19 rated Largely Compliant; 7 Recommendations remain rated Partically Compliant.

On the basis of the approved follow-up procedures for the Fourth Round and the roadmap for the preparation of the Fifth Round of Mutual Evaluations, Bolivia will continue its enhanced follow-up to the Fourth Round, which began with the present report, once its status in the FATF ICRG process has been defined.

    Bolivia's measures to combat money laundering and terrorist financing This report summarises the AML/CFT measures in place in Bolivia as at the date of the on-site visit. It analyses the level of compliance with the FATF 40 Recommendations and the level of effectiveness of the AML/CFT system and recommends how the system could be strengthened.
