Overall, Hungary has made progress in addressing the TC deficiencies identified in its 5th Round MER and subsequent enhanced FURs. The country has been re-rated on three 

Recommendations:

  • Recommendations 13, 18 and 24 initially rated as Partially Compliant are re-rated as Largely Compliant.

Hungary is encouraged to continue its efforts to address the remaining deficiencies.

Hungary will remain in enhanced follow-up and will continue to report back to MONEYVAL on progress to strengthen its implementation of AML/CFT measures.
