Honduras has been making significant progress in addressing the technical compliance deficiencies identified in its 2016 Mutual Evaluation Report.

The country has been re-rated on 6 Recommendations:

  • Recommendation 3 from LC to C
  • Recommendation 10 from LC to C
  • Recommendation 17 from PC to LC
  • Recommendation 23 from PC to C
  • Recommendation 29 from LC to C
  • Recommendation 34 from NC to C.

Honduras will continue in the enhanced follow-up process and will continue to report to GAFILAT on the progress made to strengthen its implementation of AML/CFT measures
