Nicaragua continues to make important progress in addressing the technical compliance deficiencies identified in its MER and FURs and has been re-rated as follows:

  • Recommendation 14 to Largely Compliant
  • Recommendation 35 to Largely Compliant
  • Recommendation 15 was re-rated as Non-Compliant

Nicaragua will continue in the enhanced follow-up process and will continue to report to GAFILAT on the progress made to strengthen its implementation of AML/CFT measures.
