Senegal's progress in strengthening measures to tackle money laundering and terrorist financing

Overall, Senegal has made progress in addressing the technical compliance deficiencies identified in its MER and has been re-rated on several recommendations.

• Recommendations 7, 25 and 28 have been re-rated from Non-Compliant (NC) to Partially Compliant (PC)
• Recommendations 17, 18 and 31 have been re-rated from Partially Compliant (PC) to Largely Compliant (LC) 
• Recommendation 5 has been re-rated 5 from Partially Compliant to Compliant (C).

Senegal will remain under enhanced follow-up and will continue to report to GIABA on the progress made in the implementation of AML/CFT measures.
