This GAFILAT report summarises the AML/CFT measures existing in the Republic of Panama as of the on-site visit made from May 15 to 26, 2017. It analyses the compliance level with the 40 FATF Recommendations, as well as the effectiveness level of the Panamanian AML/CFT system, and it offers recommendations on how to strengthen this system.

The findings of the assessment have also been reviewed and endorsed by the FATF.
