Turks and Caicos Islands' measures to combat money laundering and terrorist financing

This report summarises the AML/CFT measures in place as at the date of the on-site visit. It analyses the level of compliance with the FATF 40 Recommendations and the level of effectiveness of the Turks and Caicos Islands' anti-money laundering/counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT) system and recommends how the system could be strengthened.

This evaluation was based on the 2012 FATF Recommendations and was prepared using the 2013 Methodology. The evaluation was based on information provided by the country, and information obtained by the evaluation team during its on-site visit to the country from September 10th - 21st, 2018.

The findings of this assessment have been reviewed and endorsed by the FATF.
