Senegal's progress in strengthening measures to tackle money laundering and terrorist financing

Overall, Senegal has made significant progress in addressing the Technical Compliance gaps identified in its Mutual Evaluation and Follow-Up Reports.

The country has been re-rated on 11 recommendations.

Recommendations 6, 7, 10, 12, 16, 19, 22, 23, 25, 33 and 34 have been upgraded and only minor gaps remain.

Senegal, within the framework of the re-rating exercise, was deemed to be Compliant on Recommendations 7 and 34 and Largely Compliant on the 9 other Recommendations indicated above.
