Depuis son évaluation mutuelle en 2014, la Norvège s'est efforcée d'améliorer l'efficacité de son cadre national de lutte contre le blanchiment de capitaux et le financement du terrorisme.

La Norvège a bien progressé dans la mise en place du cadre légal, réglementaire et opérationnel requis par le GAFI. Aujourd'hui, la Norvège reste partiellement conforme sur 3 des 40 Recommandations. Pour les 37 autres recommandations, le pays est soit Conforme, soit En grande partie conforme.

    Norwegian Minister of Finance opens the FATF Plenary meeting The Minister of Finance of Norway, Mr. Sigbjørn Johnsen opened the FATF Plenary meetin‌g in Oslo on Wednesday 19 June. In his opening address, Mr. Johnsen highlighted that with its wide geographical representation of over 180 countries, the FATF is in a unique position to establish a common ground and international cooperation to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. Mr. Johnson welcomed the inclusion of tax crimes, an issue that is high on the international political agenda, on the FATF’s list of predicate offences.
